I’ve been wordsmithing for brands for more than a decade. From my early roots in social media marketing through my current agency experience, I’ve worked with companies large and small to tell their story effectively and creatively. My Experience

My marketing career began in direct marketing at R.R. Donnelley in the Midwest where I handled direct mail layouts and printing. After making the move to the North Bay Area in California, I found a home in the booming social media marketing trade at a boutique agency with a robust client roster, including Mollie Stone’s, Clover Stornetta, SLIME, Sausalito Art Festival and more. After only a few months on the job, I’d learned to use Sprout and Hootsuite to manage upward of a dozen simultaneous client accounts.

From there, I moved into additional content and online marketing roles and eventually landed at a local firm specializing in search engine optimization. Within two years I’d moved into a managerial role as the Senior Copywriter and Content Director with a roster of six to eight reports. Agency clients included La Tortilla Factory, Hans Fahden Winery, Guy Fieri, Friedman’s Home Improvement and dozens more.

I continued my agency work with more flexibility as an agency partner and increased my knowledge of ecommerce and SEO. By partnering with other firms I was able to access clients I found rewarding to work with, including Hallmark Baby, Rosy.com and PUNCH Clothing.

That work continues today, along with a side gig writing romance under a pseudonym. Gotta keep those creative juices flowing, always.
